Management Team
Our management team brings their deep knowledge of telephony and affiliate marketing to build RingRevenue's call performance marketing platform that enables advertisers, publishers, performance marketing networks and agencies to increase revenues and capture more high-value customers. At their prior startup, our management team designed and scaled VOIP platforms that have delivered billions of calls and leveraged affiliate networks to generate over $100 million in revenue.
Jason Spievak, CEO - Prior to founding RingRevenue, Jason was a Director and Chief Financial Officer at CallWave, Inc., a voice-over-internet software and service provider. Jason led CallWave’s successful IPO in 2004 and was a member of the senior team that delivered 12 consecutive quarters of revenue growth, profitability and positive cash flow with more than 750,000 paid subscribers. Prior to CallWave, Jason was Vice President of technology M&A in Broadview's Silicon Valley office, where he was the execution lead on more than $1.25 billion in successful transactions. Jason has also held product management roles with Nextel Communications and with Netopia, where he helped the company complete its successful IPO in 1996. Jason earned his MBA from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University and his BA from UC Santa Barbara.
Robert Duva, COO - Prior to founding RingRevenue, Robert was the Director of Customer Acquisition for CallWave, Inc., where he led the team responsible for growing paid subscriptions to over 750,000 and driving over $50 million in annual revenues. Robert served on CallWave's Product Management team, where he developed strategies and defined product requirements for customer acquisition and retention that helped secure a tier-one venture capital investment and created the foundation for CallWave's IPO. Robert earned his BS degree in Business Administration from The George Washington University.
Colin Kelley, CTO - Prior to founding RingRevenue, Colin was the Chief Technology Officer at CallWave, Inc. from 2000 to 2008 where he architected the company's voice services platform to scale to over 10 million free and paid users. From 1989 – 1999, Colin was staff scientist and lead software architect at Unisys/Pulsepoint Communications, a supplier of highly scalable and reliable voicemail systems to major carriers and corporations such as Pacific Bell, Verizon, Motorola and 3M. Colin earned his BS degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Villanova University. While there he founded and co-wrote Gnuplot, an open source data visualization tool distributed with the Gnu project that remains widely in use today at universities and research organizations worldwide.
Scott Herriman, VP of Engineering - Scott's career expertise is in consumer-focused telephony solutions. Prior to joining RingRevenue, Scott was Technical Manager of the client team at CallWave, Inc. Early in his tenure at CallWave, Scott was responsible for developing key portions of the telephony service platform. As manager of CallWave's client team, Scott's group developed the real-time telephony application installed on millions of Windows desktops. Scott earned his BS degree in Computer Science with a minor in Geology from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
Drew Thorne-Thomsen, VP of Business Development - Prior to joining RingRevenue, Drew was CMO at Trident Marketing, where he was responsible for customer acquisition for several Fortune 500 brands. Drew drove millions of phone calls to their own performance call centers through traditional and non-traditional marketing strategies. Before that, he spent nearly a decade at Commission Junction, where he launched and developed CJ Media and CJ PayPerCall. Drew spent six years on the United States Alpine Ski Team and competed at the World Cup level. He has a bachelor's degree in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Eva Klein, VP of Customer Development - Eva is responsible for leading client development and support. Prior to joining RingRevenue, she was VP of Business Development for Enservio's marketplace division where she led business development for Allstate's Good Hands Rewards Program and State Farm Nation Rewards. Before that, Eva was accountable for revenue growth at FatWallet.com for more than six years, and served as Account Director at Be Free where she oversaw program management for top-tier brands like Best Buy, Brookstone and Netflix. Eva brings more than twelve years of industry experience spanning all aspects of the performance marketing eco-system (network, publisher and advertiser) and has served on the advisory boards for each of the leading networks. She earned her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Framingham State University.
Nick Cronin, VP of Finance and Operations - Nick is responsible for all financial management, planning and corporate operations. Prior to joining RingRevenue, he was the Corporate Controller at InTouch Technologies, where he managed a multi-million dollar annual budget and ensured sufficient capital resources to fuel the company’s seven-figure annual growth. At InTouch, Nick also oversaw the company’s expansion across four continents. Prior to InTouch, Nick was an audit manager with a leading regional accounting firm and Deloitte, focused primarily on emerging technology companies. Nick is a Certified Public Accountant and has a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Bob Smith, Staff Scientist - Bob's successful engineering career includes his work at CallWave, Inc managing the Platform Engineering department. Prior to that he was at Digital Sound, an early leader in digital signal processing, working as Software Architect to their proprietary database and server cluster architecture. Prior to that, Bob was with Pacific Scientific as Information Systems Manager. He earned his BS degree in Mathematics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
Dave Coburn, VP of Product - Dave is a proven product leader with a passion for bringing innovative technology solutions to small business and Fortune 500 customers. He combines 10 years of experience at Microsoft, leading product and technology teams to develop new online services, with more recent experience leading agile development of online RTB advertising exchanges for direct advertisers and agencies at AdECN and MediaTrust. Dave received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley and earned his MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from University of Washington, Michael G Foster School of Business.
Scott Douglas, VP of Sales - Prior to joining RingRevenue, Scott was Director of Sales at RightScale, the leading cloud computing management solution, where he lead the client acquisition and customer growth initiatives. Selling to SMBs and global enterprises, his teams drove licensing and service revenues resulting in explosive growth for RightScale. Previously he was Director of Sales North America for Citrix Online, a division of Citrix Systems that delivers Web-based remote access, support and collaboration software and services. At Citrix Online, Scott oversaw customer acquisition, growth and retention via a SaaS business model, driving rapid acceleration and capturing a significant market share in a high-growth industry. He earned his bachelor’s degree with a dual major in Business and History from UCLA.

Mark Suster is a Partner with GRP Partners in Los Angeles. Mark joined GRP in 2007 after having worked with GRP for nearly 8 years as a two-time entrepreneur. Most recently Mark was Vice President, Product Management at Salesforce.com (CRM) following its acquisition of Koral, where Mark was founder and CEO. Prior to Koral, Mark was founder and CEO of BuildOnline, the largest independent global content collaboration company focused on the engineering and construction sectors, which was acquired by SWORD Group (SWP). Earlier in his career, Mark spent nearly ten years working for Accenture in Europe, Japan and the U.S. Mark earned his MBA from the University of Chicago and a BA in Economics from the University of California at San Diego. He is a dual citizen of the US and the UK. In the GRP portfolio, Mark sits on the boards of RingRevenue® and EMN8 and is a Board Observer of Qualys.

John Greathouse has held a number of senior executive positions with successful startups during the past fifteen years. At Computer Motion (RBOT), he was the CFO and VP of Business Development. At Citrix Online (CTXS - formerly Expertcity), Greathouse served as CFO and SVP of Strategic Development. At CallWave, he served as the SVP of Sales & Bus Dev. In his capacities at Computer Motion and Citrix, Greathouse spearheaded transactions which generated more than $350 million of shareholder value, including Computer Motion's initial public offering and the sale of Expertcity to Citrix for over $230M. Greathouse is currently a Faculty member of UCSB's Technology Management Program and a Venture Partner at Rincon Venture Partners. Greathouse is a CPA and earned his MBA from the Wharton School.

Peter Sperling is the Senior Vice President and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Apollo Group, Inc. Apollo Group (APOL), through its University of Phoenix subsidiary, has established itself as a leading provider of higher education programs for working adults. Peter is also the Chairman of CallWave, Inc., a voice-over-internet software and service provider. He is a board member of TeleSpan Communications, which provides a complete portfolio of telecommunication products and services. Peter is the Chairman of Ecliptic Enterprises, a major provider of integrated space imaging and telemetry systems for NASA, JPL, the NRO, as well as the commercial satellite industry. And he is a dedicated philanthropist with a commitment to the preservation of open space. Peter earned his MBA from the University of Phoenix and his BA from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
Josh Jacobs is global CEO of Accuen Media, Omnicom's Programmatic Media Buying Platform. At Accuen Josh is responsible for planning and executing the strategy for Omnicom's programmatic media buying business. Prior to Accuen, Josh was SVP of Advertising Products and Global Marketing at Glam Media. Josh joined Glam Media from Yahoo! where he was VP and General Manager of Marketing Technology and was responsible for driving Yahoo!'s advertising technology and publisher network display partnership strategy as well as General Manager of the RightMedia Exchange. Prior to Yahoo! Josh was President of privately held software company X1, and was a senior executive at several early internet media startups including Bigstep.com, which he co-founded. Josh began his career as a software engineer, leading the development teams for several award winning consumer products including NetObjects Fusion.
